Senior/Individual/Family Portrait
You and/or your family are the most precious gifts you will ever be given and a professional portrait will quickly become a treasured family heirloom. I take a very personalized approach in not only planning, but conducting your portrait photography session. In the end, your elegant and one of a kind portraits will bring you and your loved ones many years of lasting wonderful memories.

Each client has different requirements for their portraits and to meet these varied needs, I offer a wide range of portrait packages-be it for individuals or large family gatherings.  All of these packages start with a personal planning session, either at my studio or the comfort of your own home.  The planning session is the first important step in ensuring I understand the look and feel of your portrait and the end result is exactly what you are looking for...

Almost every client I work with has the first comment of, "I am not very photogenic" or "I hate how I look in pictures". Yet, these same individuals love the look I capture and proclaim "I never looked this good in other pictures". This is accomplished by determining the perfect outfit colors, what background-be it on location or in the studio-is flattering and not distracting, and finally the proper use of lighting.  Many times people have their pictures taken with a built in flash on a camera-producing harsh shadows, the dreaded red eye and overly noticeable 'blemishes'. The end result of a perfect portrait picture is not accomplished by pressing the trigger on the camera, but by understanding the proper use of lighting. Both with formal education and through experience, I  ensure the proper use of lighting, which at times, requires 6+ studio lights in use.

With each portrait package you also have the choice of where the photo session will take place....be it in the studio...outdoors/on location...or in the comfort of your own home.  Especially for young infants and children, they feel more relaxed and at ease in their own surroundings, so a family portrait at home may work best, but the choice is yours and unlike other photographers, there are no extra or hidden charges/fees to have a portrait taken in your home.
